YesStyle Haul - Agatha Cosmetics Lipstick, Circle Lenses, and More!

So, I've got good news and bad news for you, my wonderful readers.

The good news is: all of my orders finally arrived at my place, yyaaaayyyyyy!! The bad news? Since everything arrived at once, I have to wait to open my packages until I can find time to review each item, :/

Of course, that's actually a "bad" problem to have since that also means I can produce more content for you guys! Yay again!!

Anywho, I'm super pumped to write about my first YesStyle haul! To be honest, I only placed this order for a single lipstick (I'll discuss more in detail later), but I ended up spending around $33 in total, because I wanted to get free shipping, XP

YesStyle is an online retailer known for their vast selection of Korean, Japanese, and Taiwanese cosmetics. They also sell clothing, accessories, and shoes, but since this was my first order (and I wanted that damn lipstick), I decided to stick with the Beauty side of things.

YesStyle's landing page.
Placing an order with YesStyle is simple -- search the catalog to find the items you want to purchase, add them to your cart, and then pay! I used Paypal to make my purchase, but they accept multiple forms of payment.

Shipping time depends on many factors, including item availability. Since the lipstick that I wanted was estimated to take 7-14 days to ship to the warehouse, I decided to order other items that had the same availability.

The blue box marks the shipping time.
It may be a little confusing for first-time users because the item availability is described as "shipping time" on each item description page, but don't be fooled! The site is referring to how long it will take an item to ship to the warehouse, not how long it will take the item to ship to the customer.

For my order, it was 7-14 days, but then I had to add on an additional 7 days or so for actual shipping time. All together, it took my order nearly 3 weeks to get to me. I wasn't in a rush for my order, but others might be so make sure to pay close attention to that information. If there's something you need right away, it'd be counter-intuitive to order an item with a 21-day shipping time.

The Haul

YesStyle container.
The items arrived at my doorstep in a typical mailer package. I opened the bag to find this ridiculous sandwich container full of goods. Not gonna lie, y'all -- I cracked up when I saw this. I could totally re-use this container for food or something. It's hard to see, but the plastic box has "YesStyle" pressed into the top lid.

Thankfully, all the items inside the plastic box were encased in bubble wrap. I didn't have to worry about my items moving around or getting broken during shipment.

My little haul!
For my first haul, I ordered:

-Three pairs of GEO circle lenses
-Mizon Collagen Power Firming Eye Cream
-Agatha Cosmetics Premiere Matt Lipstick**
-Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask in Manuka Honey

Given that my total was over $35, I qualified for free shipping to the US. I was also given a free sheet mask, and three free contact cases!

GEO Magic Color Lenses

Lenses.
I want to do a separate review on theses, so I just took some pictures of the bottles. However, I want to note that I wasn't a fan of how the lenses arrived -- though they were protected with bubble wrap, the lenses weren't grouped together in the package. I had to read the labels to make sure I matched each pair together.

I also have a complaint about how YesStyle sells the lenses too. In order to get a pair of lenses, you have to specifically order 2 lenses to "make" a pair. Now, common sense says that should be a given, but on the contrary, most shops that I've ordered lenses from sell their lenses as a set. Instead, if buyers aren't paying attention on YesStyle, they'll end up with just one lens, -_-

Other buyers mentioned this issue in their reviews on YesStyle's page, so I'm sure I'm not the only person that's thinking, "Why though??"

Still, the lenses are crazy cheap and y'all know I can't pass up on a bargain. I spent around $7 per pair. That could be a good thing or a bad thing, but I'll find out once I have time to give each pair a test run.

Pray for my eyes, y'all.

Mizon Collagen Power Firming Eye Cream

Eye cream box and tube
I've been needing a new eye cream for a while, and since I didn't buy any during my trip to Seoul (don't ask why; IDEK), I decided to try my luck with a Korean eye cream from YesStyle. The Mizon brand is pretty well known in the K-Beauty realm for their Snail based products. Thankfully, this eye cream also had the same availability as the lipstick I wanted, so I ordered it.

I've only used the eye cream for a few days, but thus far I enjoy it. It has a really interesting texture too - the cream is clear like a gel, but it's definitely a thicker, creamier product. I'll see how my eyes fair in a few weeks, but so far, I haven't had any adverse reactions to it.

Agatha Cosmetics Premiere Matt Lipstick

My lipstick + lipstick case
Here it is, the item that made me place this order in the first place! Y'all don't understand how badly I wanted this freaking lipstick refill. To explain myself further, let's go back in time a bit...

Before I left for my trip to Seoul, I researched several Korean beauty brands to see if there were any items that I needed to buy directly while I was in Seoul. This may sound silly, but I thought it would be a waste to purchase K-Beauty products that I can already acquire easily in the States. Popular K-Beauty brands like Tony Moly, Too Cool For School, and Missha are already available in physical stores here, so if I'm going shopping in another country, I want something unique and exclusive.

Stock photo, I do not own!
By some coincidence, I happened to come across the Agatha Cosmetics lipstick case on IG, and the second I saw it, I immediately LOST. MY. FREAKING. MIND. I had to have this beautiful lipstick case!

Stock photo, I do not own!
This functional accessory serves two purposes -- first, as a fancy AF keychain decoration, and secondly as a lipstick case, perfect for on-the-go. The extra layer of awesome is that the lipstick case can be used with all of Agatha Cosmetics' lipstick refills -- which means I can grab any of the 18 lipstick shades and swap them out whenever I want!

My case and lipstick refill.
I purchased the navy blue case while I was in Seoul because it was slightly cheaper ($15) in person than it was online ($16.90). The lipsticks, however, were much more expensive in store -- they were asking for $22 a pop in store, while YesStyle was selling the shades for $8 and $9, respectively. It was an easy choice to just wait, and buy the lipstick separately.

Agatha Cosmetics has two lines for the Premiere lipstick shades, matte and glossy. The matte line has 6 colors, and the "glossy" line has 12 shades, though 4 of those colors basically serve as a base for the glossy shades to lay on top of.

I'm definitely more of a matte lipstick kinda gal, so I grabbed the only matte shade that was available in my time frame: #111, Attirance Pink.

The case and the lipstick.
The actual lipstick tube comes in such cute and elegant packaging, that I'd honestly buy it alone, even if I didn't own the case! Instead of a traditional lipstick cap, this tube has a much smaller, decorative top for that ultimate eye-candy look. This is the type of lipstick tube that you'd buy and leave on the shelf purely for makeup aesthetics. Additionally, the bottom of the tube has another removable cap, which must come off in order to snap the refill into the case.

The lipstick case is simple -- it separates into two parts, the base and the cap. The pieces are connected magnetically so it stays securely fastened. The center of the case is hollow for obvious reasons, lol. These unique features make it extremely easy to swap refills out whenever you want. Dang, it just looks so freaking fancy!!

Refill inside the case.
After removing the bottom cap, I kept the top lid on the tube, so that there wouldn't be any accidents while I placed the lipstick refill into the case. It was really easy to do, and there was an audible click once the tube was locked securely into the case.

I'm not exactly sure on the "proper" way to align the lipstick in the case, so I just made sure the little puppy was facing me when I snapped the refill in. After that, I removed the decorative top cap, and replaced it with the top half of my lipstick keychain. Sooooooo cooool!!

Look at the little puppy~!
Agatha Cosmetics goes all in with their adorable little emblem, so much so that it's engraved into the actual lipstick! I thought this was adorable, but I know as I use the product, the puppy is unfortunately going to wear off. You can see that I already removed some of his ear from a single swatch. Still, it's an adorable addition.

I did a quick swatch of the matte lipstick on my hand. It looks a lot more pink in pictures than it actually is in person, but it's definitely not terrible.

Lipstick swatch
I know I can wear this with a liner, but it was the only color that wouldn't take 21 days to ship, so I'm not complaining. The lipstick is creamy and goes on smoothly! I'm so excited to use this!

Sheet Masks

Buy one, get one free!
The two sheet masks that came in my order are like any other sheet mask. I'm not picky when it comes to these because they're a one-time-use product -- if I hate it, it's already been used up, so no harm done.

I paid $2 for the Innisfree mask (I needed something to push my order to $35, lol) and the Skinfood mask was free because I spent over $25. I can't wait to run these under warm water in the winter time for a relaxing sheet mask treatment!

Pro-tip: adjusting the temperature of your sheet mask can make for an all new masking experience! In the winter time, run your sheet mask under hot water for less than a minute for a warm, soothing mask, and when it's hot outside, just place it in the fridge for a minute or two for a cooling, refreshing mask. I do this for all my sheet masks, especially in the summer.

As I mentioned earlier, I'm prepping my eyeballs for wear tests of each pair of the new lenses. In that review, I'll discuss pricing, styles, and comfort levels so stay tuned, because that's coming soon!

If you have any questions for me about my YesStyle order, or the products I purchased, please don't hesitate to let me know in the comment box below. I'll be back very soon! Love y'all, <3

Stay beautiful, stay true,
~J
