2015, Year in Review!

One of my frilly senpais posted an awesome questionnaire on my community page, so I figured I'd make a blog post of it. Here's my 2015 review, which also serves as a prologue to my start of the year wardrobe post!

1. Your favorite look of 2015
-My favorite look in 2015 is actually more recent than I thought it would be! I absolutely adore my waitress themed French Cafe coord! French Cafe has been a dream dress for a while, so I was super excited to finally get it this year. AND IT'S BLUE!

From San Japan 2015!
Coord Breakdown-
Wig: Lockshop

Beret and glasses: Offbrand

OP and OTKs: AP French Cafe

Apron: Vintage

Shoes: Taobao

Bag (not pictured), random bows, tea cups: Offbrand

2. Your least favorite look of 2015
-There are a lot of coords I wish I had done better but very few disappoint me like my October 2015 coords. Both of these were planned at the last minute and it shows.

October was not a good month for me, >_<
3. Favorite purchase
-Ooohh, this one is tough. I bought *a lot* of stuff in 2015! My favorite purchase of 2015 would have to be... my petticoat! I was in dire need of a good petticoat and what a difference it has made to have one! My petticoat is so awesome that my friends keep borrowing it, @_@ I had to cut off some layers, but it has stayed strong for a while.

Awesome Taobao petti!
4. Least favorite purchase
-Easy. My least favorite purchase was the Sugar Spun Rabbit OP from Pumpkin Cat. This dress was my first ever reserve purchase from Taobao. It's a beautiful dress but the style really doesn't suit me. I tried it on and immediately put it up for sale afterwards, >_<

RIP friend. Stock photo, I DO NOT OWN!
5. An item you wished you purchased but didn’t.
-AP ROYAL CARDS! Freakin A, this dress went on sale a million times (one time for $85!!) and every time it popped up, I didn't have the money for it. Uggghhhhhhhh, *cries forever*

AP Royal Cards, Stock Photo. I DO NOT OWN!

6. Trends you liked and didn’t like from 2015
-Two trends that I didn't like were the super freaking long dresses and the rise of OTT coords. I understand that people want to dress up, but when coords get to the point of not looking like Lolita anymore, I feel like it turns the fashion into a costume.

Also RELIGIOUS MOTIFS: Can we not, y'all? It makes me hella uncomfortable to wear someone else's holy symbols on my body. I reallllllllyyyy don't like that.
That being said, a trend I did like is the changes in sizing availability! More and more Lolita brands are realizing that the fashion isn't just for tiny Japanese girls anymore. I think it shows that the fashion is growing into an international sensation!

7. Favorite release of 2015
-My favorite release is BTSSB's Milky Rail Train. Never have I fallen in love so hard with a dress. It embodies everything I think Lolita should be. I believe this dress is a yearly release, so maybe next year's will have a wider range of sizes, *__*

Stock Photo, I DO NOT OWN!

8. What were your fashion goals of 2015? Did you achieve them?
-My 2015 goal was to buy more OPs! I technically have 2, but I bought and sold like 4, lol. So: mission accomplished!!

New Year 2016 questions

9. Predict the new trends for 2016
-More cat prints, a comeback for old school, and perhaps the introduction of a new sub-style? Lol, I don't know, I'm just guessing at things. I'm hoping that the major brands start re-releasing/re-vamping old prints. There's so many things I missed out on in the previous years, T_T

10. 2016 releases you are excited for
-I'm pretty sure Meta is going to come out with many more amazing things! I'm also going to be on the lookout for new releases from Chantilly, other AP, Putumayo and Haenuli. In addition, now that I know how to navigate Taobao, I'm extremely excited to see what the smaller companies are going to come out with~!

Also: THIS! It's called the Secret Garden series and comes from the Taobao shop Cat's Broom! I have a mighty need, <3

Collage of all 3 Stock Photos, I DO NOT OWN!

11. Fashion goals for 2016
-Lastly, my goal for 2016 is to get more wigs and hats. The basics to having a great wardrobe is to have many interchangeable pieces. At the moment, I have plenty of main pieces, but not enough accessories to make my wardrobe wholly compatible. Dropping my color choices down to mostly blues has certainly helped, but I need more accessories to help pull everything off. Of course, that won't stop me from buying dresses, but my focus is primarily on headwear and accessories. The good thing is -- that stuff is typically cheaper~! W00t~!

How was your 2015, my precious readers? Even though I had a few dark moments, I'd have to say I accomplished a lot and I'm excited for next year!

I'll be back in the near future with more reviews and of course, a part 2 to my BB cream quest!

Stay beautiful, stay true,

Taobao Haul #4: Best Wish, MuFish, and Under the Umbrella Shown Signs

Yooooooooo~!

Guys, I am so bad at this updating thing. I take a million pictures so that I can make some posts and then whoosh~! Time flies by and months later, I still haven't posted like I wanted. Oh well! That's what New Year's Resolutions are for! Or something like that...

My wonderful Mama bought me a full coord for my birthday from Taobao! Well not a "full" full coord, but I basically got an entire outfit. I ordered through Yoybuy as per usual, and then my Mama gave me her card number and paid for the whole order. It wasn't tooo expensive, but I'm thankful to have parents that are supportive of my hobbies.

Onto the review~!

My order!

Altogether, the order was $125. This includes the cost of international shipping through DHL, tracking, insurance, and of course, my stuff. It took about a month for everything to get to the Shopping Service, but it only took a week for the items to get to me.

Best Wish

Product image. I DO NOT OWN!

I heard about Best Wish from Closet of Frills (a daily Lolita page on Facebook). The young lady gushed about how awesome their blouses were, so when I saw a cute, Sailor style blouse, I instantly wanted it! The thing I like most about Best Wish is their sizing. Their blouses go up to 105 cm, which is exxxceeellleeenttttt for busty gals like me! The blouse was really nice and well made for the price. I paid roughly $30 for the blouse.

Ta-da~! New blouse!
A word of caution to all the excited buyers out there: be careful of the sleeves. I wouldn't say my forearms are that wide around, but it was tight enough to make me uncomfortable. The good thing is, the sleeves have buttons on them (super adorable buttons!) so I was able to solve that problem quickly.

STAR BUTTONS!

The seams are neat and the blouse is sturdy. It's not thin at all. The blouse also came with a small detachable bow. I used it in my hair, lol.

Have a few more detail shots!

The sleeves. WITH MOAR STAR BUTTONS!

Detachable bow with anchor

Back of the blouse.

All and all, I would definitely order from Best Wish again! I certainly plan on it. Best Wish gets a 7 out of 8, because I wasn't prepared for the uncomfortable sleeves.

MuFish

Stock photo; of course I don't own it.

I've talked about MuFish before, but man their sizing is all over the place. This is the second pair of tights I've ordered from them and while they are everything I've ever wanted, I barely fit them. I didn't have this issue with my other MuFish tights so I was a bit let down that they didn't fit as comfortably as I wanted.

Still -- They're beautiful!!

Tightsss!

If you are taller or wider than I am, I would not recommend these tights. They certainly have a stretch to them, but the material isn't as forgiving as the other tights I have. I give them a 5 out of 8.

Weiyi Square Lolita

JSK stock photo, I do not own!

Let me preface this entire section before I move any further with the review. I know *for a fact* that this particular Taobao shop makes replicas. One look at their shop list and it's pretty clear that they replicate many blouse and dresses from other companies. That being said, I personally believe most Sailor Lolita dresses look exactly the same. I wouldn't purchase a replica of a print, but if this dress is a replica of another brand's Sailor JSK, I wouldn't know it.

Anyway, this dress was made to fit me exactly. I give the shop props for offering a custom sizing option -- something a lot of shops don't do. I loved the fit of it, but the material that it is made from is definitely lacking. The dress is really thin too, so that means no Winter coords with this piece,

My JSK in Navy x White!
Despite its thin material, the dress was able to hold my petticoat well without becoming misshapen. It also came with a detachable collar!

Back of the JSK

The buttons on the front and the back are most there for decoration, but I can unbutton the white straps if I need to. All and all, I just wish this dress was made from a thicker material, but hey, for $40, I'm pleased with it.

Close-up of the stitching.

The straps are secure and the buttons seem like they won't fall off from the wind blowing. I'll give this JSK a 6 out of 8, but I don't think I'll order from this Taobao shop again.

Under the Umbrella Shown Signs (But Why??)

Tiny, adorable Sailor parasol!

These Taobao shops have some of the weirdest names, I swear. Seriously, how do they come up with these names? I don't even get it, lol.

Anywho, this adorable umbrella grabbed my attention because of its size and awesome sun-blocking interior. For about $9, you too can enjoy a life free of wrinkles and skin cancer. YAY!

Interestingly (and thankfully) enough, the stock photo is actually lighter than the real life color of the umbrella. Let's take a look, shall we?

Sailor Umbrella

The color is a darker navy than in the stock photo. Oh and also, they sent me a free surgical mask (is that what they are called? I don't even know) with my purchase! It's pink with stars, *__*

The parasol (umbrella?) is pretty compact and even though I struggled to fold it back into its square shape, it is really easy to transport. It was windy the day I wore my coord, however, so it instantly became a really big purse accessory.

I opened my umbrella in the house for you guys, T_T I hope I don't get bad luck!

I ain't scared of no sunlight!
The protective panel on the inside of the umbrella is actually made from a special material that is UPF 50. I certainly plan to carry this around during the hot Texas summers when I'm trying to keep my makeup from melting off my face.

8 out of 8, Taobao umbrella shop! I'll definitely be on the look-out for more cute forms of sun blocking powah. A girl can never have enough protection, :)

All and all, I was pretty pleased with this order. I'm already getting my cart ready for another GO, but we'll see how soon that will happen. I think the next time I order from Taobao, I'll get a wig and a cosplay although I definitely want to try some other Lolita shops.

Dark coord photo of everything worn together!
That's everything, folks! I have a lot of things to review, so I should have more posts up sooner rather than later. Also, I'm still testing out a bunch of different BB creams so look forward to Pt. 2!

Thanks for stopping by and as always: Stay beautiful, stay true.

Bodyline Review #2: Skirt L353, Wig 048 and Wig 045

Hello, loves~!

So first things first, I changed my blog name. As all-encompassing as "Little Kitchen Sink" sounded, it wasn't the kawaii-est of names, so introducing my new blog name -- Saxon Blues!!!

Welcome to my blog, once again. I doubt a name change will make me update more often (lol), but at least I'll sound cuter while doing it!
Today's blog post is dedicated to Bodyline! I ordered some stuff from them for my birthday meet-up (it was a twinning meet, you guys!) and got free shipping! My friend and I ordered two skirts and two matching wigs, then I bought another wig and a wig stand on my own.

Recently, Bodyline changed their website layout and I really enjoy it! It's pretty easy to navigate and I love that they have a place for customers to leave reviews. I think that will be extremely helpful for newer Lolitas that aren't too sure about the quality of certain items.

My Bodyline order!
The items took around two weeks to get to me with the usual airmail. I tried to give myself some extra time to wait for my items though because I have heard before that free Bodyline shipping can take anywhere from two weeks to several months. It's best to keep that in mind when placing your own order with them!

Bodyline Skirt L353

Bodyline stock photo, I DO NOT OWN!

I lovveeeeeeee this skirt. The color is so beautiful and vivid, the quality is *actually* great and it fits like a dream. I purchased the skirt in a 2L and it fit very well. I also tried on my friend's size L in the same color and I could fit that too! This skirt has a good amount of stretch on it and it's super flattering. I'm in love, <3

So lovely~! *____*

I paid $39.99 for the skirt. For the price and the quality, I would have no problems paying that again. To be honest, I'm eyeing those other colorways as well. This floral beauty gets an 8 out of 8 from me~! Keep it up, Bodyline.

Wig 048

Bodyline stock photo! I do not own~!

Man, I was sooo disappointed in this wig. I can't complain too much because it was only $10, but Bodyline reallllyyy needs to work on their color wheels for their wigs. It's so hard to tell what color is what and the additional numbers (for example 5-2, etc) for their splits are pretty confusing because you don't know which color is the overall color and which one is the split.

On top of that, there aren't many reviews for this wig, so I ended up ordering a color that's super unflattering to my skin tone.

I bought this adorable bob in "Separate 2-5". For future reference, the color on the *left* (on their wig sample sheet) is the color of the split and the color on the *right* is the overall wig color. Hella confusing, I know.

Quarter-split bob

Honestly, the overall color of the wig just didn't match well with my skin tone. I'm probably going to sell it. For what it's worth, though, the wig is soft and super cute! It's also pretty cheap. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to sell this wig, T_T

Sorry Bodyline, you guys get a 3 out of 8 from me. Please represent the colors of your split wigs better.

Wig 045

Wig 045 stock photo, I do not own!

This adorable wig was a pleasant surprise! I thought for sure, I would try this on and hate it. Instead, I feel in love! It's so adorable and the curls are super cute! It's a little weird because it's actually more like a twin-tail wig -- in the sense that there are two little ponytails permanently attached to the wig. My biggest concern with this little curly delight is when those curls start to fall. The best part? It looked great on BOTH my friend and I!

We ordered our wigs in color "Nphbrown-4". It's a darker brown color with a bit of a lighter tint to it. This wig looks amazing with hats, <3

I love my $1 wig stand, lol

The permanent ponytails do give the wig a bit of a "hump" at the top, but it's hardly noticeable. That's also why the wig is fantastic under hats; they'll hide the rounded tops if that's something that will bother you later.

For $15, I'd buy this wig again! It's so adorable and it's absolutely perfect for summer. I just wish they offered it in more colors. I'll give the Wig 045 a 7 out of 8, because those ponytails are somewhere between weird and adorable as heck.

And now for a coord pic~! Here's the coord we put together with these awesome items! We were going for a country look. I have no idea why we posed in front of tires, bahaha.

We're twins~! (Not really, haha)

Have you ordered anything from Bodyline recently or even been to their new website? What do you think about it? Tell me all about it in the comment box!

Stay beautiful, stay true.

Battle of the BBs~! BB Cream for Dark Skinned Beauties, part 1

Hey babies~!

I've been really busy lately with a new job and a bunch of new positions within the cosplay and Lolita world. It requires a lot of planning and a bunch of meetings, so when I'm not working my 8 to 4, I'm hanging out with friends or making plans for the future.

Since I'm always so busy, I searched high and low for a quick make-up routine that will help me put my best face forward, while taking minimal effort. About two years ago, I discovered BB creams and after trying them out, I haven't looked back since.

So what exactly IS a BB cream?

A quick Google search explains that BB creams are short for Blemish Balm or Beauty Balm. They were originally created in South Korea for plastic surgery patients, but grew tremendously and became a global sensation. There are hundreds of BB creams to experiment with, from nearly every make-up company across the globe.

After conducting my research, I ran to the nearest Target to purchase my first BB cream, nearly two years ago. Unfortunately, I was in for a rude awakening.

To my disappointment, only 2 or 3 brands had a "deep" or "dark" toned BB cream for those of us on the darker end of the color spectrum. Now I have never professed to be a dark chocolate skinned goddess (check the girl crush, y'all), but finding BBs in even my lighter skin tone was like playing a game of Where's Waldo?

To this day, the shrunken selection of cosmetics for People of Color will leave me on my soap box all week. I've made it a personal goal to only purchase products from brands that acknowledge me as a member of their customer base (glaring at you Physician's Formula and Rimmel London) by offering shades that are darker than "Never in the Sun Nude".

Over time, I was able to find a few Western brands that actually had a "deep" shade in their BB cream. I wanted to review them one by one as I tried them over the years, but then I just decided: why not make one giant post?

So here we are~! Part 1 of BB creams, specifically for People of Color! Lots of selfies and random hairstyle changes to follow, XP

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB

Left: BB cream outside. Middle: The BB Cream. Far Right: My face under indoor lighting.

Maybelline makes a pretty good beginner BB. The product is thinner than most of the other BBs I've tried, but at about $8, it provides a good amount of product for the price. I'll rate it for the number of "promises" the product makes and how many of those it actually fulfills. As such, I give it a 3 out of 8.

The product claims that it:
-Blurs imperfections

-Enhances
-Brightens
-Adjusts to skin tone
-Smooths-Hydrates
-SPF 30 Protects
-uses 0% oils and other heavy ingredients

So after using this product for a few months, I can safely say that it serves primarily as a sunscreen and not much else. The color goes on very sheer, and although it claims to adjust to skin tone, I would like to point out that I had to actually return my original purchase (Medium/deep) for a darker color (deep) because it made my face white-out in pictures with flash.

As you can see in the image, I have freckles, moles and some blemishes; most of them, if not all of them, are still there. I can definitely say it brightened my face, but I wouldn't call it "enhanced" exactly. My skin doesn't appear any smoother than it already was, and the hydration claim is debatable. My face certainly wasn't dry, but after a while the BB cream definitely brings out the oils in my face, which of course is the final claim made on the package.

I can't say I'm disappointed though, because for a sunscreen, I think it served it's purpose. However, I don't think this "beauty balm" is something that will improve your skin over time, unless sun protect is something that you really need. The Dream Fresh BB does have a higher SPF count than most BBs though.

L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream

L'Oreal BB

L'Oreal's BB is currently winning the race for Worst. BB. Ever. I was actually pretty shocked at how terrible the product was. Even if it's a terrible BB, it could work as a cheap (about $7) primer, right??

Nope! Wrong; it's a crappy primer too.

I'll never, ever buy this again. I think its only redeeming quality is that it actually does have a "shade matching" formula, meaning the product will get darker as it oxidizes.

The cream has these random glittery bits (Twilight, anyone?) that make it impossible for a girl of my skin tone to wear without applying some powder to it. My ideal BB cream can be worn without foundation or powder, and it MUST have sunscreen in it. On those counts, this cream fails completely. My goal with wearing a BB cream is to eliminate as many bottles around my sink as possible, and this product did the exact opposite of that.

0 out of 8, DO NOT BUY, DO NOT PASS GO, DO NOT COLLECT $200.

E.L.F. Studio BB Cream

Elf Studio BB Cream stock photo. I do not own!

The Elf Studio BB was one of my favorites. Before I tried some of my other products, it was my go to BB that I recommended to all my friends. For a mere $6, I got an awesome BB that Goes on smooth and creamy like liquid foundation, but doesn't feel as heavy.

Though it is a bit more oily than the other formulas I've tried, I loved that I only needed a pump or two to cover my entire face. The Elf BB is a bit thicker than most formulas as well, so a little bit does indeed go a long way. Elf gets mad props for a BB cream with SPF 20!

Applying the Elf BB!

The ELF BB comes in 6 shades, of which, I purchased the darkest. Though this BB may be a little bit too heavy for people with oily skin, I managed it well by using mattifying powder throughout the day. It took me about.... 4 months (give or take) to use up the entire product.

6 out of 8, because the packaging was not the best idea. It looks neat, but turning the entire bottle around to use the pump got to be a bit of a hassle when I got to the very last month. I ended up having to take the pump off and just dip a brush in there to get the BB cream out because gravity was working against me, haha.

After applying the product

I would purchase the ELF BB again if my most favorite BB was out of stock. It's an excellent product, I just wish it was a bit lighter.

Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream

Missha M BB!

Missha M is one of the original Korean brands that began the BB cream trend. I bought this BB during a visit to a Missha store, in the nearby Korean district. I purchased it on sale for about $20. Since I knew that they probably wouldn't have my skin tone, I got the darkest shade available which is #31. The color oxidizes after about 5 minutes or so.

I love the packaging of the Missha M cream. It goes on fairly smooth and is a little sticky, which makes it an excellent primer. As a matter of fact, after reading the bottle itself, I learned that the creators strongly urge users to wear powder with the BB. Unfortunately, I HAD to use powder with it, but more on that later.

Missha's BB has an SPF of 42. I thought that was a really random number, but so far that is the highest SPF I've ever seen in a BB cream. A little goes a very long way with the Missha cream. I wouldn't use more than a single pump per use. Most times, I only used half a pump.

The product! I used entirely too much, >_<

The glaring issue with this BB cream (besides the fact that I used too much in this review, haha) was the color. If the Missha cream had come in just one shade darker, I think I would have been much happier with it. As I stated previously, however, I knew that was to be expected, since the product comes directly from South Korea, where POC are much more in the minority.

Wayyyy too much product on my face.
I ended up wiping some off, XP

Still, I figured I'd used the product up. I know I have to wear it with powder because of how light it is. After application, it gave me an ashen tone, which again -- I pretty much expected. See?! Look at that sad face.

It's so PALE!
The color distinction is extremely noticeable. I look like a ghost, <_< A sad, sad ghost.

I do not recommend the Missha M BB for dark skinned people, unless you're willing to wear powder every day. I didn't mind it all that much, but I certainly reached for my other BBs that didn't require anything extra before I grabbed this one.

After oxidation and applying some powder, however, the BB cream looks a lot better~!

Applied some liner, shadow, and powder!
And apparently a new shirt!

After eliminating the ashen look of my face with a mineral powder and applying other make-up, this BB turns into a smoothing, beautiful monster. I love the after and dislike the before. Unfortunately, most darker skinned people are going to have this issue with BB creams from Asian companies. Even the darkest shade wasn't dark enough for me, but their BBs tout so many benefits that I felt compelled to try it at least once.

5 out of 8. I would not buy this again because remember -- my goal is to find a BB that has the most benefits for the least amount of work. I shouldn't have to apply powder, eyeliner, and eyeshadow to a BB in order to be happy with it. That defeats the purpose.

It's a fantastic BB: it has the highest SPF I've ever seen and it actually helps the make-up I apply on top of it *look* better, but I just can't justify spending $20 on a product that I *know* is not the correct shade.

Dishonorable Mentions

Since this post is Part 1 of 2, I'll wait to discuss my holy grail BB! In the meantime, here are a couple of BB creams I DO NOT RECOMMEND for anyone with a darker skin tone.

Of course, my opinion is based wholly on the fact that they don't offer a BB in a darker shade, so these BBs may actually be pretty good, they just ignore POC as their customer base.

Stock photo, I do not own!
  • Garnier BB Cream Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector (comes in light/medium or medium/deep, but there's no way that "deep" is deep enough)
  • Rimmel London BB Cream (tried it in Medium -- had to take it back)
  • Physician's Formula (doesn't offer a Medium OR Deep)
  • Aveeno Clear Complexion BB (Medium is the darkest it goes)
  • Neutrogena Visibly Even BB Cream (this makes no sense because Kerry Washington is their WOC model! Wat?!?!)
  • Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream (doesn't offer a deep shade)
  • Covergirl Smoothers BB Cream (offers a medium to deep shade, buuuttttt it's super pale)
And thus my hunt for the perfect BB continues~!

What's your favorite BB cream, my faithful readers? If you've got any suggestions for me, I'd be happy to hear them! Sound off in the comment box below~!

Stay beautiful, stay true,

Taobao Haul #3: Yoybuy, Sosic Shop, Pico Leather, and Yilia Lolita

Hello, my loves. I say every single post that I'm going to be more consistent but the DNA test determined that was a lie~! XP

But seriously, I'm so terrible with this blogging thing. I'm really hoping that the few times I DO post, though, make a difference for all of the lovely Lolitas out there who are wondering about Taobao shops and other various things.

So, without further ado!

I bought more stuff, >___< I'm always buying stuff so I'm sure that's not a surprise. This time I ordered with two of my frilly friends, and boooooyyyyyy, did we clean house! All together the order had 5 pairs of socks, two pairs of tights, three pairs of shoes, a purse, a bonnet, and three blouses. Our grand total came to $191.16 and shipping was another $70.

Out of everything, five of those items were mine.

Sosic Shop

Stock photo of my shoes! I DO NOT OWN!

If you've read my blog before, then you know I've ordered from the fantastic Sosic Shop before! They are officially my go-to shop for shoes. This time, I ordered shoes in a custom color that wasn't listed on the site. The agent at Yoybuy was so helpful and understood my request immediately. The shoes took about the normal time to make and they didn't charge me extra for the unique color. These shoes, plus shipping to the SS, was $20. I ordered them in a size 38, which is basically a US size 8.

I'm still happy and in love with this lovely shop so they get a 10 out of 8 from me~! <3 <3

My beautiful silver shoes!

Jade Princess Lolita Hall (wut??)

I'm not quite sure how I found this shop, but they had cute shoes so I got them! Sometimes trying oddly named shops is a catch-22, but I guess I was lucky because THESE. FREAKING. SHOES. ARE. ADORABLE, =)

Stock photo of my shoes! I DO NOT OWN!
The shoes are like pseudo rocking horse shoes, which I was drawn to because they aren't quite as difficult to walk in. They also feel a lot less dangerous to my health, haha. I ordered the shoes in a size 38 as well.

My new shoes!
My biggest complaint with the shoes are the straps. One strap is longer than the other, so I'm going to have to stab a hole in it, in order to make my shoes fit my foot better. At the moment, they don't fit badly, they just feel kinda loose. No worries though -- it's an easy fix.

All together, with shipping to the SS, these puppies cost me $17. Not bad, Lolita-shoe-shop-with-a-long-name. 7 out of 8~!

Pico Leather

So there's this adorable heart bag that I've been eyeing for months. I've had it bookmarked for a good four months, if not more. I finally bought it, yay~!

Stock photo! I do not own!
I'm not sure why I ordered the bag from Pico Leather, except for maybe it was cheaper there than from other shops. But, I'm so happy to own such a freaking cute bag! The pearls are so pretty, but I'm going to have to keep an eye on them, because I'm worried it might snap.

Heart bag with pearls!
For only $17, this precious heart bag can be yours too~! Pico Leather, great job! 8 out of 8.

Yi Liya yilia

I wonder who comes up with the names of these shops? Certainly not I. Yi Liya Yilia has some not so great photography, but I decided to give them a shop because holy crap~! Everything they have is so dang cheap!

And since I'm never one to stray from a bargain, I goooottttttttttt....

A blouse!
It's just a plain, simple blouse that cost me a whopping $15~! I ordered the blouse in a size XXL, which goes up to a 102 cm bust. At first glance, the blouse looked entirely too small, but once I tried it on, it fit so well! It's also pretty well made for the price.

Actual photo of the blouse!

Button detail!

Though the blouse is very sheer, I actually find that to be a good thing. It's made from a very comfortable chiffon material that will get me through the hot Texas summer. Perfect 8 out of 8 for this shop and this blouse!

Other Stuff~!

Ankle socks and a squishy thing!
So the polka dot socks are darling, but I can't remember the shop I ordered them from. They're really soft and they feel nice~! They were $2.

I also ordered a clip, that ended up being this squishy.... thing, that I have no idea what to do with. It was $1. I am highly disappointed with it, because it's not even the right color. I WANT MY FREAKING DOLLAR BACK!

Ahem~! I was pleased with this GO-round (ehhhhh? get it? get it?)! I'm more than likely going to order more stuff before my birthday, so be on the look out for that.

Have you ever had any bad experiences with Taobao? I know that some people have had some crazy things happen, but I'm thankful that I haven't had anything too terrible happen.... Yet.

Until next time, hunnies!
Stay beautiful, stay true,
